HAWKS SOAR TO 16 YEAR HIGH |

SANDGATE stormed into their first grand final in almost two decades with a gutsy win over flag favourites Noosa in a quality clash at Weyba Road on Saturday.
The Hawks, clearly back to the sort of form that carried them to nine straight victories to start the season, took the gripping second semi-final by 15.9 (99) to 12.16 (88), carrying the club into its first grand final appearance since 1994 when they won the BAFL flag.
